Fantasyland reminds us that we live in an imaged world. For the most part, we navigate not through challenging mountain ranges, forests or other natural terrain, but through the illusions we have construed in childhood. One such illusion is that of constant danger. We imagine threats lurking behind every corner, and live in a state of fear, even when danger is no longer here. Can we learn to trust again?
