Licencing

To perform or play music from Lion Ragtime in public, you will need to get a licence. There are different types of licence, depending on how you wish to use our music.

Performing licences

If you wish to perform our sheet music in public, for example, by playing live at a recital, concert or event, you will need to acquire a performance licence.

Mechanical licence / sync licence

If you wish to reproduce or distribute a recording of our music, you will need to acquire a mechanical or synchronisation licence. Mechanical and sync licences may cover the distribution of music in any of the following: film and movies, television, radio, commercial advertisements, online media and videos, streaming, and many more.
